Positive job growth must be a priority along with policies that encourage innovation, skills training, and business development. I will support initiatives directed at developing strong relationships between community stakeholders and state officials who are tasked with creating new job opportunities and developing a skilled labor force.

I want to focus on developing integrated approaches to economic development by working with business leaders and local leadership to maximize employment opportunities, and develop methods for tackling generational poverty and high unemployment rates within District 29.
